Password Management
The security page focuses on password management to protect your BlueTicks account.
Changing Your Password
To change your account password:
- Current password: Enter your existing password to verify your identity
- New password: Create a strong new password
- Verify password: Re-enter your new password to confirm it matches
- Click the "Change Password" button to apply the changes
Password Security Tips
For maximum security, follow these best practices:
- Use a unique password that you don't use on other websites
- Include a mix of uppercase letters, lowercase letters, numbers, and special characters
- Make your password at least 12 characters long
- Avoid using easily guessable information like birthdates or common words
- Consider using a password manager to generate and store complex passwords
Account Protection
Your BlueTicks account security is important because it protects:
- Access to your WhatsApp messaging capabilities
- Your scheduled messages and campaigns
- Team member information
- Customer data and conversation history
- Subscription and billing details
Additional Security Notes
- Password changes take effect immediately
- You'll remain logged in after changing your password
