Getting Started with Blueticks
This guide will help you install and set up Blueticks for WhatsApp Web.
Installation
- Visit the Chrome Web Store
- Search for “Blueticks for WhatsApp”
- Click “Add to Chrome”
- Confirm the installation when prompted
Initial Setup
- Open WhatsApp Web at web.whatsapp.com
- Click the Blueticks icon in your browser toolbar
- Follow the onboarding instructions to complete the setup
Important: Account and Device Usage
One WhatsApp Number Per Account
Critical: Each Blueticks account should only be used with a single WhatsApp number. If you use the same Blueticks account across multiple WhatsApp Web sessions with different phone numbers, messages may be sent in an unpredictable way.
If you need to manage multiple WhatsApp numbers:
- Create separate Blueticks accounts for each WhatsApp number
- Use different browser profiles or devices for each account
- This ensures reliable message delivery and prevents conflicts
Using the Same WhatsApp Number on Multiple Devices
You can use Blueticks on multiple devices (laptops, computers) with the same WhatsApp number:
- The Blueticks extension is linked to your email account, not your phone number
- Install Blueticks on each device and log in with the same account credentials
- Both devices can access messages and use all Blueticks features simultaneously
Important: When multiple people work on different devices at the same time, there may be duplicate messages. Coordinate usage between team members to avoid conflicts.
Basic Configuration
After installation, you can configure the basic settings:
- Click the Blueticks icon while on WhatsApp Web
- Navigate to the Settings tab
- Configure your preferences for:
- Message scheduling
- Notifications
- Theme preferences
