Getting Started
Blueticks helps you schedule WhatsApp messages and access powerful automation features. To use Blueticks, you need an active WhatsApp engine connected to your account.
What is an engine? An engine is what connects Blueticks to your WhatsApp account so it can send messages on your behalf. You can choose between two types:
Option 1: Chrome Extension (Free)
The Chrome Extension connects Blueticks through your browser. This works for free, but requires keeping WhatsApp Web open.
Steps:
- Install the Blueticks extension from here.
- Open WhatsApp Web in your browser
- Ensure your computer is connected to the internet
- Keep WhatsApp Web open while using Blueticks features
Best for: Free users, personal use, testing, or when you’re at your computer frequently.
Option 2: Gateway Engine (Pro Plan)
The Gateway Engine runs on our servers, so messages are sent even when your computer is off.
Steps:
- Subscribe to the Pro Plan
- Deploy the Gateway Engine from the Engine Management page (just one click)
- Scan the QR code with your WhatsApp mobile app — you can watch the tutorial video here: [link to tutorial]
Best for: Pro users who need 24/7 message delivery, scheduled campaigns, or don’t want to keep their computer running.
Important: The Blueticks dashboard works with both engine types. Whether you’re using the free Chrome Extension or the Pro Gateway Engine, you’ll have access to the dashboard to manage your messages, contacts, and campaigns.
