Best Practices

  • Schedule Ahead: Plan messages during your work hours, even if they'll be delivered after hours
  • Test First: For important messages, test the scheduler with a message to yourself
  • Batch Schedule: Take time to schedule multiple messages at once for the week ahead
  • Use Templates: Save common messages as templates for quick scheduling
  • Smart Cancellation: Use the "Cancel when a message is received" option for queries that might be answered before your scheduled message

Limitations

By default, WhatsApp Web must be open in your browser for messages to be sent. However, BlueTicks offers an Offline Scheduling feature that allows your messages to be sent even when:

  • Your browser is closed
  • Your computer is shut down
  • You're disconnected from the internet

See the Offline Scheduling documentation for setup instructions.

Other limitations include:

  • Maximum message length is subject to WhatsApp's standard limitations

Troubleshooting

  • Messages Not Sending: Ensure WhatsApp Web is open and your device is online, or set up Offline Scheduling
  • Scheduling Issues: Check your browser permissions for the extension
  • Recurring Messages Stopped: Verify the end date hasn't been reached
