Interface & Navigation
Blueticks enhances WhatsApp Web with additional features accessible through a top navigation bar. This guide will help you understand and navigate the Blueticks interface.
Top Navigation Bar
When you have Blueticks installed and are using WhatsApp Web, you'll see a row of icons at the top of the interface:
The Blueticks navigation bar includes the following icons (from left to right):
Blueticks Menu Icon
This is the main Blueticks icon (checkmark in a blue circle). Clicking this icon opens the Blueticks menu:
The menu shows:
- Your logged-in account ([email protected] in the example)
- Current version of the extension (version 5.0.6 in the example)
- Logout option
Message Planner/Scheduler Icon
This icon gives you quick access to the message planning features of Blueticks, including:
- View all scheduled messages
- Create new scheduled messages
- Manage existing schedules
Campaign Manager Icon
This icon opens the Campaign Manager, where you can:
- Create new marketing campaigns
- Manage existing campaigns
- View campaign analytics
Start Chat by Phone Number Icon
This useful tool lets you start a WhatsApp conversation with a phone number that's not in your contacts:
To use this feature:
- Click the icon
- Enter the phone number (with country code)
- Click "Start Chat"
This eliminates the need to save a contact before messaging them on WhatsApp.
Settings Icon
The gear icon at the end of the toolbar opens the Blueticks settings, where you can configure:
- Notification preferences
- Default behaviors
- Account settings
- Extension permissions
In-Chat Blueticks Features
Within each chat, you'll find additional Blueticks features:
Task Button
As covered in the Tasks documentation, the Tasks button appears in the header of any chat:
Scheduler Icon
As detailed in the Scheduler documentation, the clock icon for scheduling messages appears in the message input area:
Additional Interface Elements
Link Preview Toggle
The "Link Preview" toggle at the bottom of the chat input allows you to enable or disable link previews for your scheduled messages.
Schedule Poll Option
The "Schedule poll" toggle lets you schedule a WhatsApp poll to be sent at a specific time, perfect for gathering feedback or organizing events.
Mobile vs Desktop
Blueticks is designed for the WhatsApp Web interface on desktop browsers. The features described here are not available on the mobile WhatsApp application.
