Blueticks is a hosted WhatsApp MCP service. Add one URL to Claude or ChatGPT, sign in, and the assistant can read your chats, send messages and schedule them from your own WhatsApp number. Hosted personal-number MCP means a managed server for a number you link yourself, so there is no bridge to run on your machine.
https://api.blueticks.co/mcpTransport: a WhatsApp Web linked device on your own number. It is not the Meta Cloud API and not an official Meta product. Included in every paid tier.
Set up in three steps
First link your WhatsApp number in Blueticks by scanning a QR code, as you would for WhatsApp Web. The WhatsApp connection has to be online for any client to read or send. Menu names move as clients update, so match on meaning.
Claude
- Open Settings, then Connectors, and choose Add custom connector.
- Name it Blueticks and paste

- On the web, open chatgpt.com/plugins, select +, then Add custom MCP server.

- Start a new conversation and turn Blueticks on with
@or the+menu.

Claude Code
Add the local stdio server to ~/.claude.json or a project .mcp.json, then restart. Create a bt_live_ key under Blueticks API first.

The connector itself is included in every paid tier; the last column is only the API key access the pricing page lists per plan. Extension-hosted means the session runs in your browser with WhatsApp Web open. Cloud-hosted keeps running with your computer off.
How it connects to WhatsApp
Blueticks operates an unofficial WhatsApp Web automation engine: your number is linked as a device, the same transport family as the open-source personal-account WhatsApp MCP servers. It is not the Meta Cloud API, and Blueticks is not affiliated with or endorsed by WhatsApp or Meta. We cannot promise a number will never be restricted. If you message other people, consent and opt-out are your responsibility. If you need Meta's official Business Platform, that is a different product.
